Through education we are trying to change the thinking that "the only good snake is a dead snake".

I finally get to show you a picture of an Iguana, although they were plentiful here a few years ago they are very hard to find now. We have many types of lizards but the Iguana has been hunted nearly to extinction in this area. We have plans to buy eggs from a commercial Iguana farm, incubate and reintroduce them to this area.

At this point in time contacting us is not the easiest thing. David Teichmann and hi wife have email addresses but living out on the preserve and working with the animals means that they have to travel far to get to an internet cafe which is slow so don't expect a quick response.
If you are adventurous and show up we will find space for you.
